Learn How To Conjugate AR Past Tense Verbs In Spanish

Learning Spanish grammar can be easy and fun.  Today, you will learn how to conjugate AR verbs in Spanish with the following example.  These are some of the key concepts to remember when conjugating AR verbs.  Simply add a new ending, drop the end and just add something new to the word. May even sound too simple, but that’s really all there is to it! Let’s take a look at the Spanish word bailar, which means “dance” in English.

The AR verb conjugation in Spanish is very common and these are how you conjugate each pronoun using the word BAILAR (bail – AR):

• yo = bail + e

• tú = bail + aste

• el/ella/usted = bail + ó

• nosotros = bail + amos

• ellos = bail + aron

Remember to conjugate your verbs in Spanish with the simple rule of dropping the ending, clearing it out, and adding a new ending to your word.  Who knew, AR past tense Spanish isn’t that bad after all!
