The first rule to remember when conjugating Spanish er and ir verbs is to drop the letters of the ending of the original word and to clear it out, then you must add the appropriate letters for its corresponding pronoun.

 

Here is a perfect example of an “er” verb; BEBER, its English equivalent meaning “drink”.

First, we must remove the “er” from the word and second, we will add the right endings for the pronoun used.

  • bebieron
